Our Editorial Standards
AITeach Guides exists to answer one question honestly: what does AI education actually cost, and is it worth it? Every guide on this site follows the same rules.
Prices are verified, not scraped
Every price in every guide carries the date it was verified (currently October 2026). AI platform pricing changes constantly — when we revisit a guide, we re-check the numbers and update the date. A guide with an old verification date is a bug, not a feature.
We show the math
Worth-it verdicts never stand alone. If we say a $99/year teacher subscription is worth it, the guide shows the calculation — hours saved, cost per hour, the scenario where it fails. Readers should be able to disagree with our numbers because they can see them.
No affiliate links, no sponsored rankings
This site earns revenue from display advertising, never from the products it covers. We link to no affiliate programs, accept no sponsored placements, and rank nothing we are paid to rank. When a tool wins a comparison, the reason is in the table above the verdict.
The free-first principle
Across 60 guides, the honest answer is usually that a free tier covers the need. We recommend free paths first and paid upgrades only at demonstrated usage — that discipline costs the platforms nothing and saves readers real money.
